LNG export capacity in Louisiana and around Beaumont/Port Arthur will ramp up quickly in the next 5 years by an additional ~4.8 Bcf/d. Just in the region around the Sabine River, from Beaumont to Lake Charles, feedgas demand could reach over 12 Bcf/d by 2028. And those are just the most likely projects. There are scores of others waiting in the wings. Not only that, but industrial gas demand on the Gulf Coast is poised to grow too. So the critical question is; Where will the gas come from? And is there enough to serve these new facilities in the years to come?
