After spending most of last year in a storage deficit we now find ourselves in nearly the exact opposite situation with a storage surplus. So what happened? Has the market made any progress on reducing the surplus? We will discuss how the summer injection season has been progressing and touch on high level themes that will be driving the gas markets into the future.

-North America based LNG Export terminal capacity continues to expand with multiple projects in development
-The majority of projects are sited along the U.S. Gulf Coast, with additional outliers on the Pacific Coast in Canada and Mexico
-Various proposals for FLNG terminals have also been announced
-Each proposal includes planned output capacity for the terminal
-With so many projects announced, it is difficult to keep track of the stage of development and anticipated completion date for each project (i.e. announced, filed, in-development, FID, under construction, in production, etc.)
-Each announced project will be reviewed and identified by its relative stage of development and anticipated completion date, as well as likelihood of completion
-Nuances and differentiators about specific projects will be highlighted

-Solving the energy trilemma (security, sustainability, and affordability) requires innovation in nat gas-based alternatives that deliver on market demand for low-carbon energy.
-Suppliers are already offering low carbon alternatives including Differentiated Natural Gas, Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), Carbon Capture, Carbon Offsets, Hydrogen (H2), etc. This panel will explore the entire value chain of getting clean gas to market.
